Rocking Fingers have been selected amongst many Italian and European Dire Straits Tribute Bands to play at the 2009 edition of the Festival of Gistel ! On
3rd December 2008 the organizer called me on the cell phone after he watched the band's videos on YouTube and he was so impressed by the quality of the
performance that he decided to invite Rocking Fingers as "the Dire Straits from Italy".
In the following months me and the Festival's organization have been preparing an agreement about band performance contract, tech rider, travel, flights,
etc. Now that everything is officially confirmed we are proud to announce this very special event on our website and on the most important forums of Dire
Straits/Mark Knopfler fans !
