I have spend many many many..... hours to try get a decent sound like Marks.

HI Folks.
I found this forum yesterday. I'm constantly looking for ways to take my playing to the next level and helping others to get on it, as far as I'm capable of helping them.

Well, guess i should say hello too, like most of the new members do. I'm from Norway, 19 years old, played acoustic guitar for a few years, then on impulse, got a '98 Japanese (i think..?) Jackson and a Pretty good 75 watts Randall cheap from a friend. Really like Mark Knopfers style and found the youtube-page to this forum. So, hello. Oh, and btw. Hi all,

I found your videos on Youtube Ben and followed the link here. I've always wanted to play Mark Knopfler's tunes and this information is great so thumbs up to you! Obviously the picking style is so important. I'm not particularly experienced so not sure how long it will take but I'm going to keep practicing.
